Our lives have become so busy with constant external inputs that our relaxation time can suffer. Dr Quiet reminds us that we can 'work hard, rest hard' There is no need to wear your lack of sleep like a badge of honour, not only will a lack of proper rest take years off your life, it will make the years you are alive sub optimal. Sleep is the ultimate form go rest, but we also have passive and active rest which we can incorporate into our health regimes.

Todays episode is the first instalment of a four part mini series outlining our personal inner 4 doctors. This concept was first established in Ancient Greece by Hippocrates, who is considered one of the leading historical figures in the field of medicine.
Our modern lives are obviously different now, so Hippocrates' concept was further developed by Paul Chek (the worlds leading authority on Holistic Health) to make it applicable to 21st century life. This episode focuses on Dr. Diet, our personal physician who guides us on what to eat and drink. However, in recent years psychedelics have had a resurgence with many open minded people travelling to South America to partake in Ayahuasca ceremonies for healing purposes and to find a greater sense of connection to God/Mother Nature/The Universe.

This constant state of being over fed and under nourished is killing the human race, it is also destroying Mother Nature. It is imperative that we get back to organic farming practices so that we can become healthy and undo the damage we have done to planet Earth.
